MUTTON GREEN MASALA



Ingredients:

Mutton with bones- 1 ½ kg
Tomato- 3 medium size chopped
Onions- 3 medium size thinly sliced
Coconut Milk (thick)- 1 cup
Salt to taste
Oil- 1 Tbspn
Ghee- 2 Tbspn

Grind the following to make a thick and fine paste
Coriander leaves- 1 bunch
Jeera (cumin)-seeds- 1 Tspn
Pepper corn’s - 6 to 7 pcs
Turmeric Powder- ½ Tspn
Cinnamon sticks- 2 small pcs
Cloves- 4 to 5pcs
Green Chili- 6 to 7 pcs

Method-
Pressure cook the mutton and set aside (you may add a bit of onions and tomatoes).
In a vessel, add oil and ghee.
Fry the onions. When the onions turn soft, add green masala paste and tomatoes.
Cook till the oil separates.
Add mutton along with its gravy and mix well. Add salt. When it starts boiling, add coconut milk. Check if meat is tender. If not, continue cooking as per your desired tenderness.
You may add ¼ Tspn of sugar as an option.
You may also add some shallow fried potatoes, as we have done
