Mackerel Curry & Rice Dumpling




Ingredients for Rice Dumplings:

Idli Rava- 2 cups
Boiled water- 4 cups
Salt to taste
Grated Coconut- 3 Tbspn

For Tempering
Cumin-1/4 Tspn
Mustard- ¼ Tspn
Green Chili- 1pc( optional)
Curry Leaves- 1 sprig
Coconut Oil- 1 Tbspn
( in oil, when boils, add the rest of the ingredients in sequence for a minute or so)

Method:
Add salt to the boiled water and rava to it. Mix well and ensure there are no lumps formed.
This should be a very thick mixture, so you can form a dumpling. (Incase, if doesn’t turn out thick, keep the vessel on low fire, stir continuously till it turns thick).
Add coconut and pour in the tempering. Mix well and form the mixture to a dumpling size as seen in the pic.
