Grind the following with sufficient water and set aside
Onion- 2 med size
Garlic- 3 cloves
Red Chili- 3 or more
Pepper corns- few
Mustard- a small pinch
Cumin(jeera)seeds- ½ Tspn
Turmeric Powder- ¼ Tspn
Mangoes- well riped – 6 small
Peel the skin
Cook this in a cup of water with jaggery ( as per your taste) and salt( small pinch)
When it starts getting mushy, add the above prepared masala and cook till the rawness disappears and the masala is well blend with the mangoes. Adjust the thickness of the gravy by adding required water.
For tempering – in a tadka pan, add little coconut oil, ½ Tspn mustard seeds, whole small garlic crushed( 3 cloves), curry leaves( 1 sprig). When they start crackling, pour this on to the dish
