Ingredients:
Red raw rice- 2 ½ cups
Coconut grated -1/2
Jackfruit ripe- 15 pcs
Jaggery- as per your taste
Pepper crushed (optional)
Banana Leaf
Pinch of Salt
½ Tspn Cardamom powder
Wash and soak the rice overnight ( or atleast 4 to 5hrs).
Grind rice along w/ coconut, jackfruit, jaggery & salt. Make sure it turns out to be a thick batter.
You may add crushed pepper(optional) & cardamom powder.
Keep the steamer ready with the boiling water in it. Lay a banana leaf on the base of the steamer & pour batter and spread evenly. Cover the batter with another banana leaf.
Cover the lid and let it steam for ½ hr or more.
You may insert a knife to check if it’s is cooked and ready to eat.
