Ingredients:
1 cup Moong (soak overnight or until sprouted)
½ onion ( big size)
3 to 4- Garlic flakes
1 Sprig- Curry leaves
1- Green chili
½ -Tspn- Mustard seeds
½ tspn- Moong Dal
2- red chil’s small
2 Tbspn- Oil
3 to 4 Tbspn- Freshly grated coconut
1 cup- Water
Salt to taste
Method:
1. In oil, splutter mustards and add moong dal, onions, garlic, green chili, curry leaves and red chili.
2. When onion turn brounsih, add sprouted moong and a cup of water and salt.
3. When half cooked, add sambhar powder( For homemade powder preparation-Red chili/Chana Dal/Moong Dal/Coriander seeds/Cumin Seeds/Fenugrek seeds/Turmeric powder)
4. Now add freshly grated coconut to the mix and cook for couple of minutes. Do not over cook the moong.
